' I fight for what I believe in.... I am a knight no more-Sir Galahad '
Before I review this game, a special shoutout to Sir Wu Weerasuriya, quality is indeed greater that quantity. Alright so I finally got to play the game everyone has so fondly talked about ( Pun Intended ) The game to me is one amazing piece of work, to those who feel otherwise are actually those who have gone to expect things like open world, fast paced action combat. Well sure you can expect all of this and even more, there is a small catch though this game was, is and will always be a cinematic experience. It's a game to showcase what the PlayStation 4 is capable of, a game to make a movie run for it's money.
Galahad belongs to the order of the knights, an ancient order created to preserve the balance between the half bred and the humans. The game takes place in London, so beautifully crafted to perfection. The graphics is breadth taking, the game is filled with detail, right down to the grain, facial expressions are super realistic with ample time given to environment. Music is another outstanding achievement so is the voice acting.
Really proud of getting to see an indian character, a strong female potryal of the legendary Jansee rani in game. A proud moment for all the indians, the first in a game to actually potray an indian character so beautifully. As we set out to rid the city of the half breeds, we come to terms with what the fact that there is a bigger threat at play, as we fight to uncover, we are challenged morally, thanks to excellent story writing the twists are simply amazing and offer insight to the true color of the order we swore to serve.
Weapons are amazing with some of it being the most inventive and diverse ever seen in a game, be it spray a volley of gas to blow everything up or shock others to death it's fun to fight in Order 1866. Quick time events are a thing of the beauty which are so well designed it keeps the tension in your fingertips. Every character makes a memorable mark, galahad is a man of honor, duty bound to the order, strong in what he believes in and the man every one aspires to be.
Final Verdict : The Order 1886 sets out to do what it promised, a cinematic experience with an interesting story and excellent voice acting. Expect more only to your disappointment.
