If Activision is good at one thing, it would be making super hero games, from Prototype to Spiderman Shattered Dimensions, it is a testement of how good they are at making a superhero world both believeable and enjoyable. The Amazing spiderman is no different. From the very beginning the game ushers you into the world of spidey and challenges your very ability to traverse the world with sheer competence. Web swinging has never been this awesome with this game it is taken to a whole new level. The feet in itself leaves you both in awe and gives you a sense of satisfaction . Manhattan has never looked better with different timelines available from Day to Night, Dawn to Ashen. It's a treat to swing around the streets with people rooting for you all the way.
The story picks up right from where the movie left off with Peter and gwen sneaking into Oscorp to find evidence of more cross species experiments ending in a catostrophe with the escape of cross species and Alyster Smythe unleashing a wave of robots to stope the outbreak. Now being hunted by both the robots and the cross species spider man must find a friend in his former foe the Lizard , as Dr.Connors happens to be the only man capable of creating a cure.

A host of villans from Rhino , Scorpion, the Lizard and an array of robots ranging from hunters to colossus all keep you busy and make you fight for your very survival. A variety of side missions are present ranging from rescuing the infected , taking down criminals in car chases, chopper hunts and gang fights. Adding to the drama is a fellow reporter 'Whitney Chang' who is obsessed with bringing justice and seeks spidey's help in making the city a better place, A nice detour from your regular missions and offer you a chance to enjoy the city and save it the same time.

Costumes are another awesome addition with us being able to play in a variety of outfits starting from Scarlet Spidey, The future foundation, Big Time and the classic Black suit. It's fun to watch spidey take out the bad guys in style.
