Call Of Duty has always been our chance to live the life of a soldier, there are many games that do it but none do it better than these guys..., Infinity Ward is known for rebooting the COD franchise and introducing the Modern Warfare story arc to it. Back when Modern Warfare 1 came out , it turned out to be huge success and revolutionised COD as we know it today.

The game picks up right after modern warfare and puts us in the shoes of several opeartives all part of a task force named 141 headed by Shepard. Soap McTavish makes a come back and is part of a bigger team now. With Zakhaev death, the Ultranationalists brand him a hero of the soviet union and one of his top lieutanants, Vladimir Makarov is now incharge and openly wages war on the USA.

The gameplay is very much similar to Modern Warfare with us being able to use high tech weaponry but this time around the enemy has it as well, making the fight all the more interesting. The game takes place in a variety of locations ranging from dense jungles to a russian gulag all filled with rich detail and each offereing a challenge of it's own. The game offers a compelling story with it's own twists keeping us on the edge the whole time, something COD is known for.

Another part of the game is a series of covert and high risk operations known as Black Ops ( a tease for the next game :p ) and offers us a qucik succession of several missions with a high risk , high reward style. The multiplayer is another component worth noting despite it's infancy is sheer fun just for being able to play with friends.
The final verdict, Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2's fun filled gameplay and the story's shear brilliance is a treat for those of us yearning for a taste of  Modern Warfare.
