BattleField 4

Nothing comes quite near to the experience of having played an awesome First Person Shooter. Be it Call Of Duty or Battlefield , playing as a soldier has been quite a dream for a lot of us. Despite some of our constant denial it has become more of a guilty pleasure . This time it's Battlefield 4 , DICE has come a long way in making the Battlefield series into a franchise it is today.Battlefield 3 was a huge move up for DICE and it offered a variety of ways to experience state of the art military warfare. Battelfield 4 takes all the best features of it's predecessor and makes it even better .
Starting out as an imitation to the acclaimed Call Of Duty series the present game surpass it's counterpart in every possible way. Be it superior graphics, jaw dropping action sequences, insidious plot twists or the the awesome background score , name it and this baby has it FrostBite 3 comes through and proves to be an engine capable of handling huge environments and as to how much of it is interactable. A fresh and revamped combat system makes the fight all the more engaging as the enemies no longer behave as mindless drones but are more receptive of the current scenario. Be it rolling out of fire or attacking us with pin point accuracy , the gameplay has evolved in ways we could never imagine.
Despite being a game developed for the next gen consoles the game looks equally good on the present ones as well. The graphics are a feast to the eyes with excellent detail right down to the atmosphere or the chunk of concrete that breaks upon impact, a truly remarkable feat in itself. As far as vehicles are considered the choice has rather been low this time around with missions involving vehicle movement has considerably reduced. ( Wish I were able to fly an Aircraft as in BF3 ).
The plot for the game is fresh and offers a female companion as a NPC a first time in the series. Battlefield has never been known to give choices to players and this one is no exception to it but does let us make a few decisions having a minimal impact as to how the game ends. [ don't wanna spoil it for those who haven't played it yet ;) ] .
Voice acting has been given the proper care and consideration and along with the facial animations look life like. The choices of weapons are galore with new ones getting unlocked as the game progresses.  The background Score requires praise as the composers have taken the extra length to differentiate the suttle differences in gun fire to the various events that occur within the game making it all the more immersive.
Multiplayer for BF4 looks refreshing and new maps along with new match variations make it enjoyable discouraging the fact that the lag caused by EA servers are a pain.
All in all EA has done the right thing by letting DICE take over the Battlefield series as it has become a game that is excellent at what it does let us kick ass in true F.P.S style.
