Dragon Age Inquisition

Dragon Age Inquisition, a game so grand in it's scale is going to leave you in complete awe. Let us take for instance the sheer breadth of the game, the crazy amount of side quests, the companions each so voraciously written, all the lore, the gigantic backstory and the sheer brilliance of the level design leaves you in complete awe. This has been Bioware's masterpiece in the making for a long time.

The game begins with you the sole survivor of an accident at the Temple Of Sacred Ashes, being rescused by Cassandra Pentaghast, you have been marked by the rift and the only one with the power to close it. The game then takes you on an adventure throughout Thedas as you try to uncover the truth behind the accident, close rifts, make friends, fall in love and become the saviour of the world or simply leave it to it's bitter end. You are allowed to create your own character either a male or female with 4 races and 3 classes namely warrior, mage or a rogue offered .

The gameplay takes the best of both origins and dragonage 2 and makes it better. The fast paced combat from 2 and the tactical combat from origins giving us a hybrid where you stay in control of the battlefield but still retain the fast paced combat. Close combat with warriors or long range attacks with mages each is unique and offers different perspective to battles.The lack of healing spells is quite a downer though.Battles with dragons are some of the finest we have seen and the sheer thrill of facing one keeps us at the edge of our seats.

 Companions galore with 9 of the best warriors, rogues and mages ready to assist you but each have their own problems to deal with, helping them face those problems also lets you understand them better. Romances are minimal atleast for a straight human male, something of a disappointment, compared to origins but the few available has been beautifully written that we actually do end up forgiving their mistakes.

Weapon and armor customisation has reached a whole new level thanks to the crafting options in Draon Age inquisition. The variety of crafting resources is so vast from drakestone to dragonbone and everything inbetween. Some of the finest armor and weapons in game can only be obtained through crafting. Weapons range from greatswords, shield and sword, magic staffs and long bows. Weapon runes are a delightful addition to this list with top tier damage capabilities.

Thedas covers all of orlais and fereldan, meaning you get to visit about ten times more places than before.Be it The hilly terrain of Hinterlands, Emprise du Lion's snowy stretches, Storm coast's ever chaotic weather, the hissing wastes punishing barren lands, the Crestwood's lush greenery and the stillness of Haven,The level design involved in each of these places is jaw dropping and magnificent. Each is an experience in itself and kudos to Bioware for going the length in addressing fan feedback from the previous games.

Final Verdict : Dragon Age Inquisition is the biggest and boldest foray till date for an RPG game. Bioware has crafted a true Masterwork, "Master Wade" would be proud :D !!!!
