It is not everyday that you get to play as a man who has total control over a city. And can cause mayhem in the blink of an eye. Well this time around 'the eye' happens to be CtOS. A system which is incharge of just about everything in the city of chicago. So what happens when a man is given control of this system. How much of a conscious does he develop over his deeds and what's finally instore for a man seeking vengence, a man known by the name of Aiden Pearce.

His Cousin Lena's death is what starts off the spark but a city that is controlled by power hungry people makes him to stop and take note of his actions, as they bring about a change in the city. Actions that promote social well being make the public trust you, and even help you at times. You become known as the vigilante, a hero in the mask. Or if you chose the dark path, people will be afraid of you and you become far more notorious with the police.

The gameplay itself is how you go about hacking your way through the game and by hacking I don't mean the sensless slaughter you come to see in horror flicks but pure sentinent software hacking at it's best. This game is a haven for people who know how hacking works and is a great starter for people who wanna know what it is all about. From hacking Signals to collossal bridges and everything inbetween including trains,  the games offers you unlimited possibilites to flex your creative muscles and get the job done any way possible.

Side missions galore in every corner of the city. Save victims from potential criminals, steal cars, destroy a convoy and even take out a gang in their own den. It's all there and quite some more as well. Friends are for you what they call fixers once connected to your game, they can hunt you down mercilessly without the slightest bit of remorse. They can also control the police and even hack into your own system to clean house. Weapons galore with opportunites for you to test of every single one of them starting from a simple pistol to a grenade launcher. The pows make us a nice road show. Poice chases are also vibrant with them making use of every possible way to 'subjugate' you.

The graphics have been pretty well designed to compensate for the last gen systems, in comparison to this gen where it plays like a breeze. The game is one of the very first games to be introduced to all 5 gaming platforms namely Pc, PS3, XBox 360, PS4 and XBox One. For hackers this ain't new but for people out of the domain this is a world full of opportunities.

The Final Verdict : With Watch Dogs, Ubisoft has now created a franchise, one that requires a lot of brains and sometimes an equal amount of shooting to get the job done.The Next Gen is here people and  ' Everything Is Connected '.
