Mass Effect 2

" The Chances Of Survival are........ Slim. "

When a game is made, it's future is also taken into consideration. In the sense if that game happens to be an R.P.G like Mass effect which is part of a trilogy then all the choices made in the first game will have an impact on the second game's story line as well. With that in mind Mass Effect 2 is an all out action sequel to the first in the series. While Mass Effect was more of a traditional R.P.G. with longer conversations , lots of exploration and extremely labourous but interesting inventory management, Mass effect 2 takes us right into the game, minimzed inventory management, Fewer armor customization and lesser variety to weapons all these are overshadowed by an immersive and fast paced combat sequences. The games puts you back into the shoes of Commander Shepard , only this time you have joined Cerberus a rouge pro human organisation to take on the Collectors, a mysterious race who are responsible for abducting entire human colonies. You are sent on a mission to recruit a team comprising the best of soldiers , biotics and assassins. Convincing them to work with you and getting to know them better forms the major crux of the story. The enemies are more tenacious and offer some of the most epic combat sequences. Boos Battles are well thought out and the more loyalty you command on your squadmates the better chances of your success. Each squadmate is unique in their talents, and a lot of old aquaintances make appearences. The decisions you made in Mass Effect are visible quite clearly and have a direct impact as to how your story progresses. Furthermore improving on the concept of morality are interrupts which help you make a moral stance on a given situation and gives you paragon or renage points accordingly. Similarly these interrupts decide as to how the NPC characters react to you later on in-game. As the story progresses we get to know the true motive behind the collector abductions which are anything but alarming.
Several DLC's are also available including those of two new characters namely Zaeed Masani & Kasumi Goto. Also we get a special DLC called Arrival which gets us ready for the events of Mass Effect 3. As the game ends we get to understand that the series is far from over, and that we await the ' Arrival ' of Mass Effect 3.......
