The Last Of Us

When I first started to play 'The last of Us ' I expected myself to be embarking on an adventure where against all odds I end up winning the day and defeating the bad guys. That's how every game I have ever played till this day been. Well not anymore, if there is one thing this game taught me it is that I am not a Hero, I am not someone who can take the world around me for granted and like everyone I too will bleed. I learnt to make every shot count , every scrap was precious because somewhere , sometime it just might give me an edge. From the very first scene till the very end I made every decision as Joel would have done it himself , I did wonder if all that time it was an option given to me because I always chose what I felt was necessary. Ellie, the person I don't think I ever will forget in my life. Sometimes the people around me are too important to leave , there was tears in my eyes when I first began the game being a helpless man unable to save his daughter and now as I watch the credits roll I have tears not because I won the day but because the game made me do what I would have done had I been with Ellie all along. That is where the game scores and it is not just the Game Of The Year , it truly is the Game Of The Century. Beautiful voice acting and life like facial animation capture Naughty Dog has not only pushed the boundaries in creating a game they have forever changed how games will be an important medium for imparting experiences. Hat's Off to you guys for giving me a Life's experience , one that I will forever cherish . I am proud to be a gamer thanks to you :).....
