Batman Arkham City

' You Complete me '.... 'For Only You Could fully understand me '.........
The final installment on my trilogy run through takes me to Batman Arkham City. Rocksteady Studios have come a long way from Arkham Asylum with improvements being made on every possible front. The game takes place in Arkham City a controversial super prision built right in the middle of Gotham City. With the capture of Bruce Wayne , we are thrown into this world and the game kick starts from there . Never was there a dull moment for the game keeps throwing new stuff to you at a feverish pace. All the main villians return with a host of new ones including Mister Freeze, Two-Face, Penguin , ( Bruce Wayne :O ? ) & Hugo Strange who is incharge of running Arkham City. As Batman is pulled into the events taking place he starts to uncover something far more sinister going on. Catwomen makes a brief apperance and has a separate storyline dedicated to her . Joker , Penguin & Two Face each have their own turfs right down to gang members, wall posters and decorations with gang wars taking place between them at regular intervals. Also there are Crime in Process taking place all around arkham city with batman earning Xp's for saving Political Prisoners. Rocksteady has given us the full feel of entering a villan's stronghold and as to how each of them incorporate different means to stop Batman. Loads of side missions involving Zaas, Bane, Poison Ivy and The Riddler makes for some excellent downtime inbetween the main story line. Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill return to voice their characters with Mark playing the Joker for the very last time, Rocksteady made sure he had a proper sendoff ( thank you guys :) ). Being able to identify forensic evidence has improved along with a lot of powerful and unique gadgets including the Freeze Cluster Grenade, Zipline walk, Mine disrupter and many more. The freeflow combat system has been refined even more and combo variations and finishers are now upgradable along with gadgets. Music feels fresh with Ron Fish and Nick Arundel taking over giving pulsating beats and specific themes for each of the bosses. Joker gets a special note , making our pursuit of him all the more awesome . Unreal Engine 3 comes through for movement across the game is non laggy and the save and load times have improved a lot.  Harley Quinn's revenge a story based DLC picks up the pace right after the main game ends and lets us play as the Boy Wonder ' Robin ' himself. It is fun and enjoyable as the new combat style for Robin varies a lot from batman and as to how his new gadgets help get the job done. The DLC is an excellent addition to this already decorated Batman cake . On the whole Arkham City stands tall as being a game worth of its predecessor in all aspects and is a perfect sendoff to one of the best villians ever created.
 Ha Ha Ha.............. :)
